The sun is actually almost shining for the first time in 14 days without so much as a glimpse of blue sky. Reason enough to celebrate for me.
On a sad note however, we lost our new drake to a predator in broad daylight. I was out shopping for fence for them at the time, figures.
We've had some of the wettest, heaviest snow I've ever seen. Trees are bent everywhere. My new garden net fence collapsed twice due to the weight. It was literally like slush falling from the sky.
The location of the new forest tire garden.
This area is partially shaded, getting maybe 4 hours of indirect light per day.
It should be ok for greens, but I will try some fruiting veg as well. Still have to finish the gate and add more tires, soil.
