Capsized the canoe today in heavy winds, water and air temps were just under 10 degrees. No wetsuit but lots of polypro and wool really saved my ass. It took 45 mins to get the boat bailed and ready to attempt to paddle back to the care. My hands and feet were numb even though I had scuba gloves and scuba boots with wool socks. I was cold for about 3 hours straight but, never did I even shiver due to constant movement, my judgement was a little clouded after reaching shore, and the shrinkage factor was painful! haha. Lessons learned, don't sail in March without a wetsuit numbnuts, literally.

Canoeing with Luke today to check water levels for sailing. Very high water. We saw a giant salamander, unusual for this time of year. Had lots of fun making echos off the mountains, beautiful day.
